Gatt Communications v. PMC et al.

Plaintiff Gatt Communications, Inc. filed an action in the Southern District of New York alleging that a former Vertex employee, and several other defendants, violated state and federal antitrust laws and RICO by engaging in a bid-rigging conspiracy.  CTSW represented the former Vertex employee and, along with counsel for the codefendants, successfully moved to dismiss all of Gatt’s claims and the entire case. In a 23 page opinion, the Honorable Deborah Batts dismissed Gatt’s multi-million dollar claims with prejudice as to the Vertex employee represented by CTSW and all of the other defendants.
