CTSW represents a global manufacturer of food ingredients and ethanol, as co-counsel with Winston & Strawn LLP, in an action for fraud and breach of contract against a manufacturer of ethanol dehydration technology arising out of a dispute over the licensing and performance of that technology. The action is pending in the New York Supreme Court, Commercial Division and, on our client’s behalf, CTSW already successfully moved to dismiss several counterclaims seeking 90 million Euro in compensatory damages [and all of counterclaim plaintiff’s punitive damages claims], including three major counterclaims asserted by the counterclaim-plaintiff for conversion, fraudulent inducement and negligent misrepresentation.
