CTSW Represents Owners of Memphis Redbirds Minor League Baseball Team in Sale to Diamond Baseball Holdings

CTSW represented the owners of the Memphis Redbirds, the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team, in a sale of the business to Diamond Baseball Holdings (“DBH”), a venture recently formed by Endeavor Group Holdings, Inc. The transaction was a part of a plan whereby DBH acquired 10 minor league teams, including teams affiliated with various Major League Baseball organizations.

CTSW also represented Peter Freund, the principal owner of the Redbirds (and a former consultant to the Office of the MLB Commissioner), who will now serve as the Chief Executive Officer of DBH. Fred Sanders, Larry Tauber, and Ken Rubinstein worked on this transaction.
