CTSW secured a permanent injunction on behalf of its client Hipcricket, a mobile messaging and marketing company, after a trial before Chancellor Andre G. Bouchard in the Delaware Chancery Court.

Hipcricket asserted claims for misappropriation of trade secrets and confidential information against a former sales executive and his new employer. In a decision issued in July, the Court determined that the former employee and his employer wrongfully took and used Hipcricket’s trade secrets and confidential information in their attempts to solicit Hipcricket’s customers and issued a permanent injunction prohibiting the use of the trade secrets and confidential information.

CTSW partner Ken Rubinstein and associate Jackson Davis represented Hipcricket in this matter.
