A New Jersey-based healthcare services company not only can hire the rehabilitation therapist it wanted to hire, but also will have an easier time bringing talent on board in the future. CTSW’s Shirley Tang and Ting Riess assisted with securing approval of an immigrant petition, in the process favorably resolving legal issues that will impact subsequent hiring. Shirley and Ting made successful arguments about the company’s legal structure that removed what would have been an obstacle to the client’s recruiting plans. “We worked with the client to understand what is at stake in the long term,” said Shirley. “We’re happy with a result that leaves our client with the talent it wanted to secure.”
