A full audience of furniture designers, manufacturers, and retailers was on hand for a California Proposition 65 panel at the Casual Living conference in Orlando on February 20. CTSW’s Jerry Cohen, who has represented furniture companies and attended High Point Market for more than twenty years, moderated a discussion featuring Brian Adams of Ashley Furniture, David Beckmann of Emerald Home Furnishings, and Cheryl Falvey of Crowell & Moring LLP. The law requires notice to consumers who buy products with chemicals deemed to pose certain risks.
