On Tuesday, November 19, owners of businesses including design, media, home furnishings, and credit card processing gathered for a roundtable facilitated by Steven Zelin, CPA. The group discussed how to monitor key performance metrics and keep track of important financial aspects of a business. They also shared tips on business planning in an uncertain environment, strategies for deferring taxes, and tracking expenses. Steven added a unique twist to the roundtable with his guitar, singing well-known songs with lyrics rewritten to be about accounting and business.
“We were delighted to host clients and friends for this discussion,” said CTSW’s Courtney Birnbaum, one of the firm’s corporate attorneys who works with business owners. “They told us that discussing shared challenges was valuable, and listening to what they said will help us provide even better service in the future.”
